Lutz, a beloved son, brother, friend, and student-athlete from Chatfield, Ohio, tragically passed away on Thursday, June 22, 2017, following injuries sustained in a serious automobile accident earlier that morning. He was 17 years old. According to published obituary information, Bryce died at St. Vincent Mercy Medical Center in Toledo after emergency medical efforts to save his life.

Born on February 3, 2000, in Tiffin, Ohio, Bryce was preparing to enter his junior year at Buckeye Central High School in New Washington.
